The dinner at Wirtshaus was delicious. I had a great steak on the cozy terrace near the town square. The hotel was a comfortable, clean, modern base for visiting Salzburg, though most of the other guests we saw seemed to be there for business rather than a holiday. The room, lobby, breakfast area, and restaurant were all tastefully decorated and had a pleasant, welcoming feel. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The buffet wasn’t especially extensive, but the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also appreciated the spacious, secure underground parking and its EV charging station, a great extra for electric vehicle drivers.

We booked on a whim and were pleased with the choice. The welcome was friendly, the room was fantastic, and the food at the restaurant outside was great. There’s good parking inside too. I can really recommend this hotel.

My family comes here often, and I’m glad this has become one of our favorites. It’s in a quiet spot, on a little village plaza without traffic. The restaurant has been renovated and looks stunning inside and out. The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional and authentic, and it’s family friendly.

We loved how quiet the place was and how warmly we were looked after. Right when we arrived, the staff welcomed us and offered to upgrade us to a bigger room with a terrace. It’s a charming hotel with lovely service.

The beef tartar was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the other menu items were excellent too. The decor is artful and looks great. The squirrels on the lamps are funny.
