The house is in a quiet, beautiful residential area between the mountains, within walking distance of the salt Mine entrance. Hermine and Alfred made us feel like part of the family, and they paid attention to all the little details. Breakfast was amazing. On my husband’s birthday, they had a cake and candle ready for him, a personal touch that meant a lot. We can only recommend staying here.
The hosts were very nice, and the place was easy to find. Our bedroom was across the hall from the bathroom. Breakfast was very generous for just two people. I’d rather hosts ask what we like first, though, so food doesn’t go to waste.
It’s a little far from things, perhaps, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. The home itself is traditional on the outside and modern and cozy inside, and it was sparkling clean and well organized. The host made us feel at home. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone spending a few days in Hallstatt.
A great spot to unwind in a traditional Austrian styled house. The hosts were lovely, the location was great, and parking was included. Thanks for everything, Damien & Wen.
