The ski room is inside the house, and there’s parking right beside it. The ski resorts are only a few minutes away by car. We stayed in the large apartment with two bedrooms. Both rooms were quiet and cool, while the roomy living area, including the kitchen, was warm and had a big table. The underfloor heating was a real plus. There’s also a quiet spot to relax, with a sofa, a small table and two armchairs.

Haus is easy to get around on foot, and the ski bus stop is only a few meters from the apartment. The larger of the two balconies is shared with other guests, though the apartment also has a small one. The furnishings are adequate, but the kitchen could use a few small things like a peeler and scissors. Wi-Fi worked well, just not very fast. For cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, I’d go to Ramsau am Dachstein, where snow is more reliable and the scenery is much prettier, in my opinion. Haus has the nicer slopes for downhill skiing. It’s a cozy apartment, good value, with friendly owners. Worth checking out if you don’t need luxury and want to keep costs down.

From the balcony, there’s a wonderful view. The hosts were nice, and the atmosphere felt cozy. A very nice place, I recommend it.
