The Summercard deals were amazing, and we made the most of the pool, sauna, and kids’ room. My daughter loved the view and the short walk to the lift, and called this the best hotel ever. I agree it’s a superb place. Next time I’d stay at least a week.

There are plenty of activities and hikes in the region, and the staff were great. The cuisine was excellent too. This was the best holiday I can remember.

We’re planning to come back next year. This is our second stay at this excellent family-run hotel, and it’s a great base for a week of skiing. You can take the train from Salzburg. We stayed in suite 311, which was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom. The pool has a swim-jet, and the sport massage service is very good. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. They spoke English well, and those who weren’t fluent still chatted with good humour, much better than our embarrassingly poor German. Victoria is especially keen on English period dramas like DA and Bridgerton, and promised to watch them undubbed from now on. The food is consistently excellent, and gluten-free options are always available.

We’ve known this hotel for decades and are happy to return every year. We love coming as a family with our child, and my grandparents and parents have fallen in love with it too. The service is super friendly, and the owner leads great walking tours in summer and winter.
