We had a penthouse on the top floor, with the elevator opening straight into the apartment. The terrace was huge, and there was a private sauna. Inside, the living room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the three large bedrooms had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully equipped with pans, forks, knives, pots, and all the other utensils we needed. There were three showers, two toilets, lots of cups and glasses, plus a broom and bucket. Everything had been thought through, and we never felt short of anything. Each apartment has its own private storage room downstairs for skis, snowboards, and clothes, so it isn’t shared with other guests. There’s also a shared laundry room with washing machines, but you need to buy detergent separately. The ski slopes and a Billa supermarket are both about a 7-minute walk away. Lift passes cost €78 for adults, €59 for youths, and €39 for children. You have to collect and return the keys at another location higher up the mountain, so there’s a short drive up and down. The views from up there make up for it. The town is small, with limited things to do in the village itself, but it’s a good spot for a calm, relaxing break. More shops, walking areas, and places for an evening stroll are in a nearby town about 10 minutes away by car. The apartment itself was modern, comfortable, clean, and nice, and we had a pleasant stay. But it wasn’t the apartment I booked. The listing photos have since been changed, and when I made the booking the place looked completely different, so I didn’t get what I expected. There’s no privacy on the terrace, which overlooks other people’s houses and gardens, so we didn’t use the sauna either. Natural light comes into the bathroom and second bedroom, but the living area and main bedroom, with the terrace outside, get no natural light or direct sun and feel dark and dingy. I was terribly disappointed by the lack of light in such a beautiful country. Check-in was at another resort 3 minutes up the mountain by car, which isn’t ideal if you don’t have a car. We also had to sweep and clean before checking out, despite being charged a cleaning fee.

We felt really comfortable during our lovely stay. The modern, stylish furnishings made it feel like a change of pace 😊 The weather wasn’t always great, but that couldn’t be helped. We’ll be back 😊

It’s a fantastic, modern penthouse in a superb spot right beside the Hauser Kaibling valley station. There were a few problems: the kitchen and bathroom weren’t clean enough, the kitchen equipment was very basic for the price, the dishwasher and steam oven need servicing, and there was construction noise from the neighboring building. We raised these issues, got a quick response, and were offered a price reduction.
