The guesthouse is cozy and clean, with local food, decorations, and a traditional feel that made the stay even nicer. It’s in a gorgeous, quiet village in a valley, surrounded by majestic mountains. I’d strongly recommend it for couples and families alike 🙂. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to return someday. Thanks for the hospitality!

We came across this pension while travelling to Italy and booked one night. We could easily have stayed a week. It’s in a quiet village with amazing landscape views from the veranda, and the area is lovely for walking and cycling. The pension is highly recommended, with a traditional Alpine guesthouse feel, spacious and very clean rooms, a good breakfast, decent dinner, and very friendly staff. A wonderful start to our vacation.

The rooms were great and the food was okay. There’s a bar and restaurant on site, which is a nice bonus. It’s an easy place to reach without snow-related trouble, and the location is convenient for starting a ski trip as soon as you enter the Austrian Alps.

We were disappointed by several parts of our stay. On arrival, the owners apparently didn’t want to miss an important sports event, so they left a note and key in an envelope on the reception desk. That would have been fine if they’d told us beforehand. They didn’t welcome us or give us a tour over the next few days, and we had to work out how things operated for ourselves. We still don’t know who the owner or host was. The hotel was not clean enough, which affected our comfort, and the staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. Smoking wasn’t allowed, yet the whole room smelled of smoke when we arrived. We’d booked separate beds but had to figure out where the second one was and how it worked. There were two rooms in our party. My friend stayed in one with a lovely modern bathroom, while ours had a very outdated one. Its fixtures looked old, used, and not very hygienic. My friend is quite tall and barely fitted in the shower. Every time the toilet was used, the odor spread through the whole room, making it uncomfortable. Breakfast was also disappointing, with limited options and food that didn’t meet expectations. Apparently there were other things you could order, but without a welcome from the host or owner, we didn’t know and had to figure it out ourselves. The lack of cleanliness, unfriendly staff, awkward bathroom, and poor food made for an unpleasant stay. I hope they improve things for future guests.
