Heiterwanger Hof, Pizzeria La Dolce Vita

The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and so friendly. I accidentally ordered a meat dish even though I’m vegetarian, and the manager replaced it right away without charging me. That was really kind and unexpected. Their tiramisu is very good as well. A lovely Italian restaurant, definitely recommend.

The pizza was decent, and they kindly had it ready when we arrived around 22:00. But we won’t return. After more than 12 hours of driving, we found a tennis tournament and party taking place right in front of the village. We were told they had permission until 2:00 am, and the amplified music, beer and sad öster-dance carried on until then. A few drunk people kept chatting late into the night afterward. The place itself is basic, clean and functional, but management fell short in several ways. There were no blinds on the windows, and pizzeria staff smoked outside right below the hotel room windows. Breakfast was very basic, with long-life milk instead of fresh milk, and even the olive oil was sub-grade despite the Italian management. It wasn’t all bad, but we still won’t come back. Heiterwanger municipality deserves a much harsher review of its own, and we’d rather go to Lermoos.

The playground is well equipped, so it’s a great spot for families. The staff were very kind and, as far as I could tell, totally Italian-originated. Two Polish women we met here recommended the Lasagne, and now we can recommend it too. It’s delicious.

The room was huge and breakfast was great. Service was astounding, and both the pizza and dessert were delicious. A great place to stay and eat.
