Biedermeier Schlössl Lerchenhof

We had a lovely time at the restaurant with family and friends. The food was delicious, and the beautiful decorations created a great atmosphere. The owner was really nice and even offered us a ride. Everything was thoroughly enjoyable, and they definitely deserve five stars. I’d gladly recommend a visit.

We’ve eaten here many times and it’s usually very good. We didn’t stay at the hotel, just came for dinner. I like that they source food locally, and the play area is great for kids. This visit was disappointing, though. Service was okay but not especially friendly. Some dishes were very good, but the burgers were terrible. Don’t order one! The patty was too small, dry and under-seasoned, the cheese had no taste, and the sourdough bun was far too big. The chocolate soufflé was overcooked and dry too. There was a wedding that evening, which might have put pressure on the kitchen, but it wasn’t the dining experience we’d enjoyed on previous visits.

A great place, with remarkable hotel staff who were welcoming, very friendly and attentive to every detail. The huge breakfast buffet deserves a mention too. It had everything from homemade specialties to delicious locally sourced options.

The garden at Schloss Lerchenhof was such a lovely place to unwind, and the food was fresh, creative, and still had those authentic local flavors. We came to celebrate our anniversary and couldn't have picked a better spot. The family who runs the place are so warm and clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel special. Our only small suggestion would be a coffee machine and mini bar in the room. We'd love to return.
