The garden was such a nice place to unwind, whether in the hammock or on a lounger, and the area made it easy to enjoy day trips, mountain railways and good restaurants nearby. We were lucky with the weather too, and had a lovely few days. The cottage was spotless, with comfortable beds and a kitchen stocked with what we needed, including a coffee machine and dishwasher. The family made us feel very welcome. They shared helpful local tips, brought us a homemade cake roll and juice, and listened to our suggestions for improving the stay. We also liked the fresh bread delivery. We left our order in the bucket outside each day, the baker dropped the rolls there, and we settled the bill at the end of the holiday.

I've come back for a second stay, and it was just as worthwhile. The hosts are great, there's wheelchair access and a lovely garden, plus a really good inn right across the street đź‘Ť
