We had another great week here, with lovely weather and hosts who made us feel very welcome. My daughter and dad are visiting this guesthouse for the second time, each time for a week. Breakfast on the terrace in the pretty garden, beside a mountain stream, was a real treat. The rooms were clean, and the stay was excellent value. We'd love to return.

In summer, you can cool your feet or wade in the stream that runs through the garden. Haus Gudrun also makes a handy base for activities, with Lake Presseggersee and its lido about 2.5 km away. The rooms are bright, very clean, and in a superb location, and breakfast is tasty with plenty of variety. The hosts are kind and friendly. I don't get to travel as often as I'd like because of work, but I'll definitely come back to Haus Gudrun when I can take another vacation.

Breakfast in the garden comes with plenty to choose from, including fruit juice, cold cuts, butter, jams, and bread. The lady was very kind and the garden is beautifully maintained. The rooms have small private bathrooms and look a little dated, though they're well cared for. The price is very reasonable.

The hostess is friendly, though she keeps a close eye on everything. The place is dated but clean, with a good shower, and the price was good. I stayed the night on my way back from Italy.
