The hosts were friendly and checked each morning at breakfast that everything was all right. Breakfast had plenty of cold cuts, cheeses, spreads and sweets, plus very good espresso. The hot choices got repetitive, though: hard-boiled scrambled eggs, roasted bacon and boiled eggs. Email replies came quickly, and we could correspond in English. Ski passes for Nassfeld could be bought at the guesthouse for a slightly lower price. Our apartment was spacious and very clean, with a large bathroom, bedroom, separate toilet and vestibule. We booked without a kitchenette, but had a kettle and small fridge. There was enough room for two adults and a child. The guesthouse also had a sauna, a relaxation room and ski storage, with plenty of parking, some of it covered. Wi-Fi was good. It's in a quiet area on the edge of Tropolach, about five minutes from the Millennium Express gondola and a 15-minute drive to the upper station with the chairlifts. Kristall is a good choice, especially for skiers.
