We stayed at Bergblick for a week in February 2025, two adults and four older kids, and had plenty of space. The bathroom’s shower and bathtub were great after skiing, and you can walk to the ski bus. Tom and Ingrid were fantastic hosts, so sweet, friendly and enthusiastic. We all enjoyed an evening around the fire with homemade mulled wine and snacks. You can hear the road if you really listen, but it’s not much of a bother. The train passing behind the house is remarkably quiet. I wish we had trains like that in the Netherlands! We’d love to come back.

Two weeks flew by, and we still ran out of time to enjoy everything nearby. The Kärnten Plus Card included with the stay lets you use the cable car, train and bus for free, among other opportunities for exploring the beautiful surroundings. You can walk to bike rental and swimming at Lake Pressegger. The spacious apartment had a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, good beds and air conditioning in the bedroom. The host and hostess were very friendly and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a great time and can certainly recommend it.
