We were cycling through and only stayed one night, but it's still a lovely memory. Breakfast was perfect, and the host couple welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. When we arrived, they offered us a glass of their own excellent Grüner Veltliner. The garden is a little paradise, and the guest rooms are lovingly designed and furnished. A wonderful winery for unwinding.

The apartments are furnished with care, and the hosts are so friendly. We had a really relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Simply delightful, a must-see and must-experience!

We were walking along the street in Herrnbaumgarten when we spotted a cellar entrance through an open gate. It was the Schwalm family winery, the first place we came across there. An elderly woman greeted me and asked what we were looking for. I told her we were journalists from Siberia writing about winemakers, and she called her husband over. The two of them showed us around the winery and gave us some wine to try. They also rent rooms to guests. Later, a German man who visits every year and stays with the Schwalms joined our conversation. I got the impression that he and the Schwalms were quite friendly.
