Right by the bus stop, this is a peaceful spot at the valley's end, with both easy and more challenging hikes starting right outside. The hosts are lovely and do their best to accommodate requests. We found the apartments roomy enough to unwind, and handy for making simple meals. A great fit for a quiet break with plenty to do.
We won't be staying here again. The owners were unfriendly, and the kitchen and bathroom felt dated. They function, but don't expect more than that. As soon as we arrived, we were told to pay the remaining balance in cash. I explained that my wallet was packed under three mountain bikes, but was told we'd have to unpack anyway and should pay then and there. The day before departure, a letter left at our door said we had to take out our rubbish, clean the kitchen and apartment, and strip the beds. We were still charged 45 euro for cleaning.
The rooms were clean and the place itself was very nice, but the staff's unpleasant manner left a bad impression. We were 25 minutes late leaving the room and were charged an extra day's rate, which we refused to pay. Edit: The owner later apologized and offered compensation after I posted this negative review. I really appreciate that response, and hope future visitors have a great experience.
The common area was pleasant, and there was a good space for ski equipment. The apartments were very clean, though not well equipped, especially the kitchens. The owners' many unusual rules and the communication around them made our stay unpleasant.
We had a lovely, clean apartment and the family were very welcoming. It's at the end of the valley, though the view is great. An oven in the kitchen would be a welcome addition.
