Hotel Pension Flora

The house was clean and breakfast was good, with plenty to eat. For skiing, the location worked well: the slopes are across the street, and the morning slopes are about 100 meters away, starting with the short descent to the Unterschwarzachbahn cable car. Still, booking at Pension Flora calls for caution. Agreements weren’t kept, even ones we’d made in writing by email. We chose Haus Flora partly because the website said guests could sit together comfortably in the "Stüberl" in the evenings. We were two families with three children and hoped to spend time there after skiing, but it was closed every evening, even when we asked. The tables had already been set for breakfast the day before, so we had to go elsewhere to play games and have drinks together. Showering before 5:00 p.m. often meant cold water, and the heating was switched off overnight. The Wi-Fi was very poor and didn’t reach the rooms, so using it meant sitting in the hallway. Even with those problems, we had a lovely vacation.

We stayed for winter sports and found the hotel very nice and clean. It’s in an excellent spot in a beautiful area.

The family running the guesthouse were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony and fantastic views. It’s about a five-minute walk down to the village.

Breakfast had everything you could want, and the team around the Entholzner family were attentive and welcoming. The house is in a wonderful location and was clean. Highly recommended!
