The parking arrangements were badly misrepresented and became the biggest problem of our stay. The hotel says guest parking is next to the property, but only a few spaces are actually there. Another lot is around 700 meters away, up about 40 meters in elevation, which was unacceptable with luggage or ski equipment. The owner’s wife said they could drive guests there many times a day, but they only did so once. When I asked again, I was ignored. On our first day, we briefly parked near the hotel to unload skis, and the owner reacted aggressively and arrogantly. It turned out that spot was his private parking, though there was no sign or information to say so. Our room was cold and extremely small, with a shared balcony that wasn’t mentioned in the description. That felt misleading. There was no kettle or minibar, so after 8 p.m. we had to rely on tap water unless we’d prepared in advance. The poorly ventilated bathroom was unpleasant to use, and breakfast was basic and exactly the same every day. Communication was entirely in German, including the check-in email. I don’t speak German, so I had to hand my phone to the owner to complete check-in for me. That felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. A sauna and jacuzzi were supposedly available, but the owner never mentioned them, showed us where they were, or explained how and when to use them. For the high price, this was a serious disappointment. The stay felt poorly managed, misleadingly advertised, and unwelcoming. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I stayed as a paying guest during a ski trip, booked through the Booking website from 24-31 January 2026. The listing said parking was available at the hotel, but in practice it was about a 15-minute uphill walk in normal shoes. That felt misleading, and I wouldn’t fancy doing it with luggage or ski boots. As an English speaker, I personally felt unwelcome. In conversations, the owner openly expressed strong negative opinions about foreigners, which made me uncomfortable. I also noticed that the emergency fire exit appeared to be blocked during my stay (see photo), which concerned me from a safety perspective. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and I wouldn’t choose to spend my money here again.

The service, including at the restaurant, was outstanding, and the hospitality was first-rate. Breakfast was included and was one of the best I’ve had, with fresh local produce, toasted breads and homemade butter, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee, plenty of meats and cheeses, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, and fresh salmon. I ate dinner at the restaurant once. It was close to perfect, and while it was pricey, the Ribeye steak was easily one of the best I’ve had. The hotel is just outside Ischgl, so it was quiet and comfortable, with free parking on site. A heated room kept skis, snowboards, and boots, and the free in-house sauna and wellness area were relaxing after a day on the slopes. The free ski bus stopped right outside and ran often in the mornings and afternoons. For late evenings, there was a discounted taxi service with a local company, or you could enjoy the walk back from the centre of Ischgl, which took around 20 minutes. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable, with plenty of character. It was cleaned daily, including fresh towels, and had an adjacent bathroom that was dated but met our needs. From the balcony, we had a nice view of the valley and Ischl. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet hotel around the Ischgl area.

The hotel has a jacuzzi with a nice view, and it’s dog-friendly. They also have two sweet, very good-looking cats. The joker card you get with your stay covers free cable cars and the swimming pool. Everything else was fine too, and the price-quality ratio was very good. I’d recommend both the hotel and the region.
