The reception team were so attentive, and one even pointed me toward some local dishes to try. My first trip to Austria went really well here. The rooms are clean and modern, with the village and ski slopes nearby, and lovely walks by the river and up to the lake. I’m glad I picked this region and aparthotel, and I’d love to return.

The welcome at reception was lovely, and getting information in Czech was a nice surprise. Our apartment was quiet, roomy, well equipped, and in a great spot. We also appreciated having a trolley to get our luggage inside. We had a wonderful week and would definitely recommend staying here.

The barking dogs made it pretty loud, since dogs were allowed in the game room. Our apartment was nice enough, though, and we still had a nice stay.

Hinterstoder is a peaceful mountain town, and having a car made it easy to get to other towns in Austria. This was my first stay anywhere in Europe, and I’m glad I chose this place. The staff made me feel welcome even before I arrived and took care of my requests whenever I needed something. My one concern is the lack of air conditioning. Even with every window open, there wasn’t enough airflow for comfortable sleeping, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting in summer.
