The apartment is simply great, fully furnished and looked after with care, and Rita is a lovely host. We got a real taste of rural Austria just a few steps from Fuschlsee 👍. It worked like a charm for kids of all ages.

Lake Fuschl is only about 500m away on foot, and its shallow natural swimming beach was great for the kids to splash around in. There are more lovely lakes and villages within an hour's drive, plus plenty of nearby hikes and outings for children. We stayed in the lower floor of this spacious, fully equipped Austrian farmhouse. Having two terraces meant the children could play freely around the house, and there were lots of toys indoors and out. Rita was very friendly and full of ideas for things to do in the area. The house is on a quiet road in a farmyard and has a lovely, authentic feel.

The apartment was clean and comfortably furnished, and the extra bedroom had toys and a second TV, which worked really well for our stay with children. Fresh flowers and homemade cake made us feel especially welcome. The host family were warm and lively, always happy to help with questions. The place is on the quiet edge of town but still convenient, and makes a good base for trips to Salzburg or the Salzkammergut region.
