BEST WESTERN Hotel Roemerhof

The bus stop right outside makes getting to the city centre easy, with buses every 10 minutes. The ski area is just one stop away. If you stay at least three nights, reception gives you an Innsbruck local transport card for free travel on buses and trams. Our room was spacious and had a lovely mountain view. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, bacon, vegetables, fruit, and sweets. A lovely boutique hotel near Innsbruck.

The location, the lovely cleaner, and the sauna were the good parts. We’d stayed here before and liked it, so this visit was a real shock. The apartment was in poor shape, and the kitchen barely had anything: no toaster, just one pan, no oven rack, and none of the usual basics. Whenever we asked the receptionist for help, she either said she was about to take a break or shrugged and said she couldn’t do anything. It feels like maintenance and service have been abandoned.

Breakfast had a nice range of traditional European options, and the room was clean, with a lovely view and a balcony to sit on. The staff were courteous and very helpful when we arrived. We had a pleasing stay.

Rude, unhelpful staff made an already awful night even worse. The water kept cutting out, insects were in the room, and an irritating tapping noise at night kept me from sleeping. There wasn’t even any soap. The whole stay was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
