Hotel Karwendel

The service was excellent, and the staff were really friendly. It’s in a quiet area, quite close to the Alt Stadt, or historic centre. The place was very clean too. Congratulations, I’ll be back!

We had a great stay and think this hotel deserves a score of 10. The rooms are quite large, and there’s a big kitchen with refrigerators and freezers on the floors. Breakfast was very good, especially the hot boiled egg with feta cheese. They let us check in early, and the location is excellent, with a bus stop 20 metres away. The woman I think was the owner or manager was helpful and hospitable. Special thanks to Stuzana at reception, who patiently answered all our questions and was very helpful. We’re definitely coming back to Innsbruck next year and will stay here again.

A fine place to spend the night while travelling on to your holiday destination. The staff welcomed us warmly, and reception was very friendly. Breakfast was good, with cereals, yoghurts, plant milk, breads, egg, and sausage. The decoration felt a bit old fashioned, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean and needs updating.

This felt way overpriced for what was on offer. Honestly, half the price would seem fair. The room was large, but not very clean, and the equipment was very outdated. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable either. There’s no air conditioning, which I didn’t expect, but the room gets very hot in summer and opening the window means putting up with the noise. The sound insulation isn’t good, and it’s a relatively loud spot next to a busy road and train station, with planes landing nearby that you can hear all the time. The hotel is old, and the free internet worked very poorly, disconnecting me constantly.
