Hannibal looked after us attentively and was ready to help with anything. We also enjoyed two dinners at the Sporthotel, and breakfast was exceptional. The rooms were very comfortable, and we had a really nice stay.

The pool and sauna were fab, and both meals we tried were excellent, especially the amazing breakfast. Everyone at the Sporthotel was so friendly. We arrived before midday and were able to check in early, which was great. We loved our short stay and can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to coming back.

The location, room, and breakfast were all great. But we chose this hotel partly because of the indoor pool, and the heat pump was broken throughout our three-day stay at the beginning of December. The water was very cold, probably no more than 15 degrees, though we didn't have a thermometer, and basically too cold for most people to swim in. It was disappointing, especially since they knew about the problem but didn't mention it when explaining the pool hours at check-in. When we asked about it and showed how we felt, there wasn't even an apologetic response. We stayed civil, of course.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and there was a good range at breakfast. I stayed in the Snowshoe room, a uniquely designed room that's essentially a double. Wi-Fi was a little unreliable, and getting from the parking lot to the entrance means a short walk. This alpine lodge is right in the center of Igls, a good base for an active summer trip. The bus stop beside the hotel has connections to Innsbruck and Nordkette, and the Patscherkofel cable car is walkable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were spectacular, breakfast was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome with how friendly they were.
