Trofana Alpin

The staff were exceptionally friendly and competent, and we didn’t miss a thing. It’s a small, personal hotel with fine cuisine and a very attractive, cosy spa. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re modern and comfortably furnished. We’d happily come back.

Dinner was delicious, and they were always happy to switch courses if we wanted or needed to. The service was outstanding and very friendly. Our modern rooms were really nice and clean, and the ski depot had its own locker. The location worked well, with a two-minute walk to the village tunnel and shops right there. The wellness area was lovely, with four kinds of sauna and two places to relax. Massages were available, though we didn’t try one. Breakfast could have had more variety and more Tyrolean specialities like ham, cheese, and salami. The options felt a bit limited. The relaxation area could also have been a little fancier to make us want to stay longer.

The food was good, but it took a long time to arrive, and drinks were a bit too expensive. The waitress was really rude. Two of our plates were taken to the table next to us, and five minutes later, when they noticed, they tried to give us the food after it had already been touched. When we complained, the response was rude too.

Ischgl is a fantastic ski area, and this hotel is in a great location. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous and very clean, and all the staff were wonderful. I’ll be back for one of my trips next season and will stay here again.
