Andrea and Alois always made time for us and our son, and we never felt we were bothering them. We felt completely at ease at this beautiful, tidy farm. Simply wonderful.

We’ve stayed at the Stangleggerhof in both summer and winter, and it’s always wonderful. It’s a lovely place to relax and very child-friendly. The apartments are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The whole family is exceptionally friendly and warm, and the Aschberger family always makes time for guests. I can highly recommend it.

We spent two lovely weeks here as a family of five, and our children fell in love with the dog, cat and horses. Even our eldest, who was 13, felt right at home on the farm. The Aschberger family were fantastic hosts, always friendly, attentive and helpful, and the apartment was very well equipped. The bread delivery service made for a great start to the day. Wiesing is a great base for trips to Lake Achensee, Zillertal Valley, Alpbachtal Valley, Innsbruck and plenty of other places. Within 30 minutes there are lots of options for outings, hikes and food and drink. In two weeks, we only managed to see a fraction of them. We also enjoyed the family’s schnapps. For hiking, the Achensee Adventure Card is a good option. We liked walking uphill and then taking the cable car down, which was much easier on the knees. Starting at the Rofan mountain station was convenient for reaching the trails, and you can hike with the children all the way to the Rofan summit. We definitely recommend the farm.

The owners were super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate everyone. We were warmly welcomed, and it’s a wonderful location for beautiful holiday apartments with excellent amenities. Absolutely child-friendly. Thanks for a lovely time, we’re looking forward to coming back.
