We loved the local food, the generous breakfast, and the daily guided hikes with Christoph and Martin. Fresh eggs were prepared by the mother of the house. The family has run the hotel for generations, and their warmth and hospitality were the highlight for us. We spent a full week here in late July. The rooms were spacious and the beds just right, and the wellness area is large. There’s modern underground parking and two EV chargers, each providing 22 kW. The family also runs its own 1.2 MW small hydropower plant, so clean energy is secured. The hotel sits right at the end of the Kals valley. Step outside or hop on a bike and you’re straight into nature, with amazing scenery all around. Everything was so good that the only downside was having to leave. We’ll be back!

We only wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was clean and had a great view, the food was incredibly delicious, and the staff were so kind. It was a perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful mountain views. Thanks for making our honeymoon unforgettable. We’d happily come back!

Just ten minutes into a short walk after we arrived, we were already seeing waterfalls and lovely valleys. The location is exceptional, and the hotel staff were very kind, helpful with hiking route suggestions, and did their best to meet guests’ wishes. Our room was spacious, clean, and very quiet, and the food was good. One small idea: after a day of hiking, an afternoon salad buffet alongside the cookies would be a healthier option. I say that as a dietetian 😊. We’re planning to return. There are only a handful of hotels in the region I’m completely satisfied with, and this is one of them.

We had a nice stay in summer. The hotel was clean and well kept, our room was comfortable, and the restaurant served fresh, tasty food. The area is fantastic, with many hiking routes starting around the house. A hiking taxi can be arranged for older people with less energy.
