We stayed in the Gipfelwund apartment with our three children, and the care put into all the little details was clear. The rooms were beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner while enjoying the gorgeous view. The jacuzzi and sauna were just right for relaxing after a busy day. The location in the middle of the Zillertal valley was great. The pillows were a little too soft for us, but that was no dealbreaker. We can’t wait to come back!

A great chalet with lots of rooms and a very nice sauna. The bread service was good too. One bathroom is lovely, with a walk-in shower, while the other is clean but basic. We could ski all the way down to the lift, which was great, and there was an icebar. It would have been perfect with a jacuzzi.

The hot tub in our Bergmahd apartment was a real treat after skiing, with views across the valley and mountains. We had plenty of space for our family of six, and the apartment was well equipped and quiet. Wachterhof is right on the piste, and it’s also a great base for hiking and mountain running, directly on the Zillertaler Hoehenstrasse. We had a wonderful week skiing and spending time with family, and can highly recommend it to anyone after that kind of stay.

We’ve now stayed at Chalets & Apartments Wachterhof twice, and we’ll be back for a third visit. This time it was a five-night stay in the apartment. The views and location are simply breathtaking, and it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. You can see the thought that went into planning and designing the complex, and the attention to quality is clear.

The apartments have a lovely atmosphere and great views. You’ll need transport, though, since it’s a long hike to the shops and other places.
