The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, making it a good place to stop for the night. The problem was that staff came in to clean at 9am, even though checkout wasn’t until 11am. I called out to let them know I was still in the room.

The room was surprisingly spacious, with minimalist but modern decor, and the whole setup is very efficiently thought out. I arrived after midnight on the drive from Vienna to Ljubljana, and got my card from the machine in under five minutes. It had what I needed for a comfortable night, though the lighting wasn’t very cozy. The AC didn’t work until 5 a.m., so the room got damp, stuffy, and warm before it finally came on. In the morning I tried the lobby machine’s instant coffee, which was really disgusting. The place is a bit expensive for what you get, but still a good road trip stop. The parking is completely free, and the lot is big enough for at least one car per room, so there’s a good chance of finding a spot when you book.

The rooms are clean, and it’s a good choice for one night. If you’re travelling with kids, though, the price is higher than what you see online while booking. It’s still good value, but I don’t like last-minute surprises.

Check-in through the hotelomat works 24 hours, which is a great feature. The room was very clean and cozy. The WiFi signal was so weak that we couldn’t connect at all. We had enough cellular data, but it’d still be good to improve the WiFi. We were very satisfied otherwise and look forward to staying here again.
