Apartment Garni Vesul

We had such a lovely stay in December 2023. The facilities were excellent and everything was clean, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. I really don't get the negative reviews, since our experience was the complete opposite. We've already booked another stay for 2024.

The view is lovely, but I strongly recommend against staying here because of the landlord. He seemed to care about the appearance of his house and not his guests, and I found him a complete jerk. I wish I'd checked the Google reviews sooner and picked somewhere else. There's a highly rated place nearby where the landlords are said to be friendly. I wouldn't stay in this apartment or hotel again.

The noise made it impossible for us to get a proper night's sleep. Early each morning, the landlord left for work and there was a loud sound from the ceiling into our room. They also turned on the washing machine every morning, and the machine and doors opening and closing kept us awake. We didn't manage one peaceful night's sleep during our stay, and I found it incredibly annoying. We greeted them with a smile each day, but they always seemed grumpy. Their behavior and hospitality frightened us. Barbecuing was only allowed on the roadside, where the slope was dangerous, and we weren't allowed to use the ping-pong table.

We don't recommend this place at all. The owner is an old hag, in our opinion. The apartment seemed suited to guests over 70 who turn in at 8 PM, since even quiet singing on the terrace by the grill before 9 PM was very disturbing. He came back the next day to collect the money and only complained after he'd received it.
