The price was good, but the stay was disappointing. I couldn’t get breakfast on any of the days because the arrangements were never clearly explained, and the host wouldn’t communicate in basic English, making even simple exchanges difficult. There was also an upsetting mix-up over payment. Since nobody asked for payment at check-in, I thought Booking would handle it. Later I was accused of trying to leave without paying, which felt unfair and uncomfortable. The bathroom had few basic amenities, and both the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The accommodation is good value, but the communication problems and lack of comfort affected the whole stay.

The host family Jager were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic stay in a really good apartment. We’d love to come back. The hosts are hoping to have silverreta premium cards reinstated for next summer, too.

The value was great: 19E per person per day, plus 1.5E per person per day in tax and 10E per person for final cleaning. We stayed in the Crystal apartment for 10 days. Getting around without a car is difficult. The skibus runs to Kappl only 3 times a day and back 3 times a day, and reaching Ischgl means changing buses in Kappl. The hosts are nice, though they don’t speak English at all. The sauna fits about 4 people comfortably, so it’s small. WiFi costs 10E for 5 hours, and reception is pretty bad.

We couldn’t go to Haus Helga because of health issues. We asked to cancel and get the first payment back, but got a very short reply: “No money back.”
