That balcony view was lovely, and the room had a huge double bed with a duvet for each of us. We came across this small place online when we needed somewhere to stay, and it ended up being our favorite stop on the trip. Everything was clean and looked well cared for. The simple decor made it feel homey. The owner was so nice, and breakfast was ready right on 8 AM. I wish I could give them more than five stars.

A great base for hiking, with clean rooms and a good breakfast. We really liked the place.

We only found Villa Isle because a booking mistake at another place left us needing a room for one night. The welcome was warm, and our room was spacious and comfortable, though a little dark. Breakfast was so generous it could have kept us going all day. The village is pretty quiet in summer, with only a few cafes and restaurants, but that wasn't the reason for our visit.

The price felt fair for what we got: my brother and I shared a room for about €75 a night, with a generous, tasty breakfast included and free parking in the underground garage. I stayed here both before and after a hut-to-hut hike, one night each time, and I'd give it 5 stars for the value.
