Apartment Sonnblick

We made good use of the wellness centre after skiing, especially the outdoor heated pool and the two types of saunas. The food was another highlight: plenty of hot and cold choices at breakfast, then delicious dinners at very reasonable prices. From our fourth-floor room we had an amazing view of the mountains near Zell am See, and the staff were fantastic and attentive throughout our seven-day stay. The Maiskogel cable car is just a few minutes away on foot, even in ski boots, and gives easy access to the local slopes and the glacier gondola. The team made my birthday memorable and went above and beyond. They also arranged a late checkout, so we could fit in one last day of skiing before heading home. We'd happily return.

We’ll be back. The hotel is within walking distance of the Maiskogel gondola, the town centre and ski bus services. It’s a wonderful family-run place, with great staff, accommodation and facilities. Breakfast had everything we needed before heading to the slopes.

The staff were all tremendously kind, and breakfast had lots to choose from, including lactose-free and gluten-free options. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the spa area was. Our two nights here were fantastic. The rooms were clean and modern, with a great view. We’ll be back!

Apartment 8 was comfortable and beautifully kept, with breathtaking views that made for a perfect alpine escape. Soufiane deserves a special thank you for going above and beyond. His professionalism, kindness and attention to detail made our stay at Hotel Sonnblick in Kaprun truly wonderful. We left very happy and will definitely return. Highly recommended!
