AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Orgler

The location was great and the hotel itself excellent. Staff were okay, and prices felt a little high, perhaps depending on the season. There was a problem with our reservation, though I can't say whether the agent or the hotel was responsible. Apart from that, everything was fine.

It was an easy base for getting to the ski centre and supermarket, and the apartment was warm and modern. There was some noise from other guests, but generally we had a great stay. The on-site ski storage was useful, and there’s a small sauna and a separate restaurant downstairs. A few kitchen basics were missing and our dishwasher was blocked, though they fixed it quickly. I was surprised the towels weren't changed midweek, so we asked for more.

The sauna was the highlight for us after skiing each afternoon. There’s a Finnish sauna and an “eko” sauna, each holding about 3-4 people at most, plus a relaxation room. No swimming pool, though. Some apartments have their own small private sauna, and Tauern Spa is just a few minutes away. Massage services would be a nice addition. This was our second stay, for a five-day ski trip, and we enjoyed it a lot. The spacious apartment had two bedrooms and one bathroom, enough for three people. Maiskogelbahn is very close, making it easy to get to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, though you can also go by bus or car. We skipped the hotel restaurant, making our own breakfast with a big supermarket about five minutes away, and went into Kaprun to explore for dinner.

The location is perfect, and the rooms were clean with views of the Kaprun river. The breakfast restaurant had lots of choices, and I had a delicious omelet. It was my first time staying here, but I’ll come back. The receptionist was kind and friendly. I arrived late at night, and they sent instructions on WhatsApp for getting the room card. I completed check-in the next morning.
