It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food inside is really good. Nothing fancy, just simple homemade-style cooking that you'll like.

We found this hotel by chance and were really pleased with it. The generous, varied breakfast and attentive staff made a good impression, and everything was kept clean and well maintained. There's a wide driveway and plenty of parking, too. It's peaceful here, even though Lake Wörthersee is only 5 km away as the crow flies. A small wooded hill separates the hotel from the picturesque lake, which is just 300 meters away and open to everyone, with lots of room for playing and exercise. In early September, despite the lovely weather and warm water, there were only a few swimmers and anglers around. Dogs are also welcome on a designated stretch of beach. The hotel is comfortable and good value, and you can still get to the lively, sophisticated Lake Wörthersee quickly when you want to.

It's a lovely little hotel with a friendly team and a really nice breakfast buffet. There's parking, too. The lake is an easy walk away, with big meadows, few guests and good facilities. A great spot for a relaxing break.
