The cable car was just a three-minute walk away, and the staff were lovely. Everything was clean, with ski storage available. Both breakfast and dinner were incredible and delicious. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Meals were hearty and delicious, and they did an excellent job accommodating gluten-free guests. The family were warm and welcoming, and used their community connections to arrange special things for members of our group. Our rooms and the spa were top-notch, and it was comfortable to stay for a longer visit and settle into a holiday routine. Pengelstein ski lift and a bus stop are right nearby, with the bus connecting to the full Kitzbuhel ski area. We loved our winter ski holiday and can imagine the area is just as beautiful for hiking in summer.

We came from Canada as a group of 38 for a two-week ski trip, and we’ve stayed here before. The Schermer family are welcoming and always glad to help with local information. They even helped us find medical care, since not all the skiers made it through the trip unscathed. The rooms are generously sized, the food is delicious with a good range of choices, and the spa is very welcome after skiing or a day out touring. Dietary needs were easy to accommodate, and our gluten-free guests raved about their meals. Pengelstein gondola is within walking distance, and Ki-West is a short bus ride away. For anyone not skiing, local bus and train connections are included, making it easy to get around. We’re already looking forward to next year!

The rooms were nice and warm, though I’d improve the mattresses and pillows. The soap dispenser is by the sink, but you have to open the shower to reach it when washing your hands. Food was very good, so I’d recommend half board. Breakfast is a pick-your-own buffet, and dinner starts at 6 pm with self-served soup, two choices, followed by a main and dessert. There’s always a vegetarian option, but you need to request it at breakfast. Drinks cost extra, and they don’t offer basics like tap water. The saunas are very clean, and the owners spoil you with nice herbal tea every other day. The main ski lift is an amazing three to four minutes away on foot and takes you to about 1,900 metres.
