When the Tirol area was closed and travel to Austria was banned because of the Corona crisis, the owner refused to refund any of the amount we had paid in full. The Austrian government was taking serious steps to protect tourists from the virus, and I feel he took advantage of the situation. He’s the biggest con I’ve ever met. His actions make me question whether he cares about the hotel’s services at all. Actions speak louder than words.

The pizza was okay.

We had paid for a two-night room through Booking, then a minute later booked a separate one-night room for our children because we couldn’t include them in the first booking. We’d checked that there was availability, but right after that there was none for the children. We asked to cancel without a penalty and were told, “Everything's fine.” We were then sent to another property, with the understanding that €190.00 would be refunded. Afterward, we heard nothing more from them, on Booking or privately, and no money was ever returned. What honest people, if you can even call them that. Since I can’t give zero stars, this gets one, though it doesn’t deserve it. Avoid this place. These people deserve nothing.

We found the dinner and €15 breakfast overpriced, and the quality didn’t match the cost. It’s a typical old Austrian house, with clean but very basic rooms.
