This was my second stay at the family-run Hotel Resch, and I was very pleased again. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the modern rooms still have Tyrolean charm. The breakfast stands out for both its service and variety. The ski room has great storage and boot dryers. There’s also a small bar beside reception on the main floor, a nice place for a drink after skiing or before dinner. The location is excellent, with a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the main ski lift up the Hanenkam.

The people running this hotel are super kind and offer great service. My fiance and I stayed here over Christmas, and the included breakfast was amazing, with different items each day to keep it fresh. It’s right in the middle of downtown, and just a five-minute walk to the ski lift and train station. Very good value and a nice place to stay.

The family who own this delightful, clean, friendly hotel clearly care about the place and keep investing in it. On Christmas Eve, they hosted a small holiday cocktail party, gave guests parting gifts, and shared a little history of the hotel’s multi-generational ownership and renovations. I had an amazing time and can’t recommend it enough. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with pastries and bread, fresh-cut fruit, jams, meats, cheeses, seeds and nuts, eggs made to order, and coffee. The nearest ski lift is about a 4-5 minute walk away, so there’s no need for a storage locker at the lift. Downstairs there’s ski storage with bootwarmers, and the wellness area has a clean sauna and physiotherm room. The rooms are kept very clean.

We stayed for a week with a ski club trip and would definitely choose Hotel Resch again if we return. The staff go above and beyond, and the location is handy for the ski lift, train, shops, and restaurants. The hotel is super clean, fresh, and updated. Breakfast was wonderful, with eggs cooked to order, scrambled or fried, fresh fruit, yogurt with toppings like nuts and seeds, meats and cheeses, and lovely breads and pastries.

We spent a week at Hotel Resch in Kitzbuhel this February for a ski trip, and the stay was wonderful. The family-owned hotel got all the details right, from the rooms and service to the fresh flowers everywhere and the lovely breakfast. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the ski lift in boots and skis, and about a three-minute walk to the quaint, beautiful town center. Above all, the service from the family and staff was superb and exceeded our expectations. It felt like a true Austrian experience, and we’d definitely return. We highly recommend Hotel Resch. It should be categorized as a 4 star for sure.
