We came back for a second visit because the first one was so good. It’s a place where a family can book a whole holiday. On our first stay, there were five adults and two small dogs in a full flat with two bedrooms. With self-catering and a good seating area, it felt very much like home. This time we had a smaller unit, with easy access straight into the dining kitchen. The bedroom was tucked two steps down at the back, with a large comfy bed and a TV with internet access, including Netflix. After a long day, curling up in bed with a glass of wine and a film was just right. The flat also has a washing machine in the bathroom, a separate toilet, and floor heating throughout. There’s a swimming pond in the garden, and the surrounding area is beautiful, with lovely forest walks. As others have mentioned, you really need a car here. Update, April 2023: We stayed again in the unit with the recessed bedroom and felt at home once more. It would have helped if the previous Polish guests had logged out of Netflix, but we sorted it with GoogleTranslate. Between us we only know five languages, and Polish isn’t one of them, sorry! A few things could be improved: firmer pillows, a proper headboard, since the bed can’t be pushed all the way to the wall and the curly metal bars don’t give much support when sitting up, and cushions for the dining chairs. A cheap hair-dryer might be useful too. The screen hanging on the door could be secured better with hooks instead of wedged into the frame, as it kept falling down. Then we came back in the evening to hundreds of frogs making an insane chorus, all screaming out their joint need to get laid asap. Fantastic! In the morning there was a gorgeous sunrise and stunning views of distant, snow-capped mountains.

I love this apartment, especially the natural swimming pool pond.
