We’ve returned for several years, and honestly, this is the best place to stay. The two apartments at Haus Schartner are fresh and nice, just across the parking lot from the skilift. The hosts are friendly and take care of what you need. They aren’t the most luxurious apartments in the alps, but they suit us well, and they’re even better since last year’s renovation. It’s no five star hotel, but I’d choose an apartment in Haus Schartner over a room in a five star hotel any day!

The apartments may not be the most luxurious, but the location right by the lift is unbeatable. The landlord and landlady are wonderful, and there’s a perfect Aprés Ski bar in the garden. For skiing and good company, I can’t think of a better place to stay in the Alps than Haus Schartner.
