Biohotel Walserstuba

A great hotel, though it is expensive.

The ski lift is only a few steps away, and the hotel is easy to reach in a quiet spot. A ski bus serves nearby ski areas, so everything was convenient. We left our car in the hotel parking lot throughout our stay. Our suite worked perfectly for our family. It was modern but still had a regional feel, with lots of wood and a cozy atmosphere. There was a double bed and a lovely table beside a wood-burning stove in the main room, plus a second room with a sofa bed. We had plenty of storage, and could dry and warm clothes over the stove. The large balcony looked out toward the mountains. The room was clean and well kept, and we had no complaints. The bathroom was state-of-the-art, with a separate toilet and a spacious shower room the whole family could use. We were traveling with two toddlers and a dog, and every one of us felt welcome and considered. There were play areas for the children and cozy places for us to relax together, plus towels for the dog’s soft paws. I’ve never experienced staff who were so good with children. The food was excellent for adults, children, and vegetarians alike. They always accommodated our requests, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The owner’s Spätzle were especially fantastic. Almost the whole menu is organic, and ingredients come from the region or are produced on-site. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

The staff are super friendly, and the rooms are lovely, clean, and tidy. There’s a sauna too. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and we had a three-course dinner daily. On Sundays it was even five courses, sometimes with other amazing dishes as well. The service was fantastic and the food incredible, all organic. So fantastic!

We felt at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to the warm welcome. The organic hotel has a cozy, authentic feel, yet it’s modern and full of thoughtful details. Many thanks to the Riezler family.
