We arrived to find an apartment that was cramped, outdated, and poorly equipped, and we didn't want to stay any longer. It was booked and paid for four people on Airbnb, but seemed set up for three, with only three glasses and chairs and a table that's too small. The host offered another room at extra cost. The furniture was in very poor shape: bed slats were falling apart, a fridge shelf was almost broken, the sink and shower were clogged, and the toilet seat kept falling off. Shower temperature swung from hot to cold. The sofa and mattresses, too, were in very poor condition. There were hardly any basics: no salt, sugar or oil, one bath towel for a week, one dish towel, no sheets, and a single fitted sheet with a hole. Parking spaces may be gone if you arrive too late. The apartment was noisy and poorly located, opposite the train station and road, with construction work all night. The host wasn't accommodating when I had administrative questions and didn't want to speak on the phone for even a few minutes before we arrived. We also felt she'd tried to scam us, though she backed down quickly when she realized someone in our group spoke German. It's not in Klosterneuburg, either. There are no Airbnb reviews, which is strange.

Nature surrounds the hotel, even though it's close to Vienna. The bus and tram stops are just a 2-3 minute walk away. Rooms are pleasant, most with balconies, and there's a spacious parking area. A friendly hotel where hospitality still comes first. Highly recommended.

The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. I had room 14 at the top, if I remember right, with a "kitchenette" that was just a sink and refrigerator. It was a double room, but so small and cramped you could hardly move around. To use both room doors, we had to fold up the carpet. The bathroom was in very poor condition. The balcony was lovely and spacious, and comfortable to sit on in summer, though it also acts as a passageway to other rooms.

I was already exhausted from cycling, but this was the worst one-night accommodation I've experienced. The shower water wouldn't drain, and the furnishings, floor tiles, and everything else were very, very old, straight from the 70s or 80s. Not even worth one star. Move on, never again! 😡😕🤬 I'd love to know where the positive reviews come from! 😡🤬

Mrs. Huber is a very friendly, helpful and kind woman, and there's plenty of parking in the courtyard. The location is beautiful, but rooms facing the main road get a lot of street noise. Even so, I'd gladly stay here again.
