We were surprised by how quiet it was, even with a farm right next door. We slept with the window open and never noticed any smells in the apartment. It’s set in a small village on the outskirts, and there’s plenty of parking, with one car under the carport and room for more outside. The hostess was really friendly and quick to answer questions or try to meet our requests. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, with linens, towels, and toilet paper ready for us. It’s nicely furnished and well equipped, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with dining space and supplies for up to six people. Shops, a bakery, and restaurants are 3-10 minutes away, and the Kötschach-Mauthen ski area is a five-minute drive. Clear five stars, highly recommended!

The place felt so cozy and welcoming that we were completely at home during our short trip. We’d happily book the holiday apartment again if we’re in the area.
