Being right in the middle of campus is the one thing I really liked. If you can find somewhere not too far away, I'd go there instead. The price doesn't feel justified: the rooms are old, the kitchen appliances outdated, service is only so-so, and cleaning supplies are kept to the bare minimum. Yet you're expected to scrub the room perfectly before leaving or pay a 40 EUR fee. The staff were nice, but seemed pretty lost when problems came up. They'd just say, "I don't know," instead of trying to sort things out. When my pants disappeared from the laundry room washing machine, they told me to dry my clothes in my room rather than help me look for them. The rooms also look like they haven't been renovated in a long time. There was residue and gunk around the stove, and the pillow was so unusually large that it didn't fit any standard pillowcase. There were no cutlery, pots, or pans at all, so students should be aware they won't be able to cook for themselves. I offered to leave some cutlery for the next student when I checked out, but they refused and said it should just be thrown away. That didn't seem right, so I gave it to a friend. It didn't feel like the place had students' interests at heart.
