At 55 EUR, this felt like a rip-off. I've stayed in plenty of cheap hotels and roadside motels, and while the reviews often complain about cleanliness and missing facilities, here those complaints are true. The room was just marginally better than sleeping in the car, and certainly not +50 EUR better. I hate sleeping in the car, but I still rarely regret hotel stays, so that says a lot. The place is the bare minimum for somewhere to sleep a few hours. It's a tiny, very old room with a horrible smell and barely enough room for the bed. The bathroom and shower were camper-sized or smaller, and smelled like a run-down 70s gym. The blinds covering the door were completely broken and left it open. There was Wi-Fi, but no code anywhere. The price is the main problem. After I booked, they called to say self check-in wasn't working and that a key envelope would be waiting when I arrived that night. There wasn't one. Another guest handed me an envelope with my name on it after they hadn't received theirs and were about to use my room instead.

We got exactly the budget stay we were after, and it was actually pretty cool. The bed was comfortable, and we had a private bathroom, even though we hadn't made a reservation. The area is a bit commercial, but felt safe, with groceries and a couple of restaurants nearby, including a tasty pizza place. We'd stay again.

The one good thing was the breakfast, which cost 8€ per person. The metal construction made the whole hotel really hot at night in summer, and I barely slept. The bed for the third person was a pull-out couch, too small for someone 1.70 m tall. Also, the sink and toilet are in separate places, which is annoying when you want to wash your hands after using the toilet. Check-in is done on a computer outside, which could be a problem for older people who aren't good with computers.

It's a low-budget hotel, but the room was great value and I slept really well. Breakfast was awesome, and the host was wonderful, kind, and spoke English.
