Nationalparkhotel Klockerhaus

This was my third visit, and once again our stay was perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We arrived quite early, around 8 am, after driving all night with our little daughter, and they gave us our room keys, which mattered a lot to us. Then my husband asked to switch to a different room with a small kitchen, the one we preferred, and the receptionist sorted it out without any trouble. The cuisine is amazing, with lots of variety and choices. They're ready for special requests too, including diabetic, glucose-free, and lactose-free diets. I just love this hotel and will miss the place. After my second stay in Klockerhaus, they even sent me a Christmas card, which was so kind. That's why I'll keep visiting again and again!

We only had one night here, but I’d happily come back for a whole week. The waterfalls are so close, and the place is spotless, from the rooms to the grounds. Staff were lovely, breakfast had loads of choices, and there’s a restaurant and beer garden on site, plus activities each day.

The staff made us feel welcome and were really helpful, and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We also got a €10 voucher for the toll road, so we could keep driving without paying the toll.

At check-in, I asked about breakfast and was told the hours and where the restaurant was. The next morning, we walked in and, since nobody approached us, sat at the first available table. A man then came over upset and said he had reserved that table. He was right, but nobody had told us there were reservations or shown us where to sit. The waiter sent us away from the table while breakfast was underway, in front of the other guests. We felt humiliated. When I explained what happened to the hotel manager, they didn't see a problem with it.
