Apart Römerhof

We look forward to coming back each year. The hosts always greet us with a smile, and we love the schnapps on arrival. The apartments are warm and comfortable, with fresh bread delivered each morning. There's a nearby shop for food supplies you might have forgotten, plus a local bar even closer for relaxing in the evening. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We left and found another hotel because we didn't feel comfortable spending a week in a cellar apartment with almost no daylight and no view outside. The furniture was new and the place was clean, but this apartment wasn't shown on the website. We'd booked for a week after being told we'd stay in one of the apartments listed there. Make sure you ask whether your apartment is in the cellar.

It was surprising to be charged for seven people, since two of the children were only 1 year and 3 months, and 1 year and 8 months old. We were a company of four adults and three children, the third child being 12. We wanted a two-bedroom apartment, since the little ones would sleep with their parents, and the 12-year-old could sleep in the living room or an extra bed in a bedroom. They first offered a three-bedroom apartment at a much higher price than expected. After a phone call, they said a two-bedroom option was possible, but the price would stay the same because they counted all seven as guests. I've never had an apartment charge full adult rates for children this young.

Really nice location ;)
