Panorama Chalet Heimatliebe

Our children were the ones who found the “Heimatliebe” chalet for our Christmas trip in 2024. Seeing it online won me over straight away, and it matched what I’d hoped for. The interior is beautiful, with everything carefully thought through, and the view from the back is incredible. A white Christmas made the week feel complete. Heimo was friendly, attentive, and easy to deal with, and sorted out our extra requests quickly. We’re already thinking about next year.

The chalet is just a short walk from the ski lift, and after skiing we loved unwinding in the panoramic sauna or by the fireplace, which was lit each day. This was our second winter at Heimatliebe, and Heimo once again made us feel welcome, going out of his way to help and making us feel like family. Breakfast was generous and fresh every day, with homemade bread, local cold cuts, freshly squeezed juice, and freshly caramelized nuts. We highly recommend the chalet and Heimo. We’ll be back next year.

Heimo welcomed us warmly and surprised us with lots of lovely treats. The cozy chalet is beautifully furnished with real attention to detail, and its central spot near the village and the Sonnenbahn cable car worked perfectly for us. The mountain views are breathtaking too. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

Ladis turned out to be a small, peaceful place, without the noise and rush I associate with Fis or Serfaus. That was my impression after my first visit, and it seems better suited to people who can do without après-ski. We spent our days skiing beneath bright blue skies, then relaxed in the sauna by the crackling fire and talked about the day. The chalet’s panoramic views were another stroke of luck. After two years of pandemic disruption and no travel, I booked Heimatliebe on a whim for a week in March to treat my family. The name suits it: careful, high-quality furnishings have turned a former rock pub into a place I’d happily call a second home. Heimo is a perfect host, welcoming us warmly and stocking the fridge with fresh local treats, which I hadn’t expected. I’ve already booked for next year, of course at Heimo’s Heimatliebe.
