The owners were so kind and made us feel welcome, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with lots of choices and a few items changing day to day. You can ask for fresh scrambled or fried eggs, with bacon or without. The three sweet cats were a lovely extra. Getting up the road to the hotel can be quite a challenge, though the views make it worthwhile. Thanks for everything, we'd love to return!

Berghof Schöpf in Gries was a wonderful place to unwind. The balcony looked out over the Alps, and the peaceful mountain setting made it easy to enjoy the scenery and relax. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed. Breakfast had a tasty range of fresh local products. The host was warm and welcoming, and happy to suggest nearby places and things to do. We had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

The hotel sits high on a mountain, with lovely views to enjoy over breakfast. It's a pleasant family-run place, and the staff were extremely helpful. There’s a small ski lift right nearby, which is useful for teaching younger kids, and the friendly hotel cats were a hit with the children.

Karin and her family gave us such a warm, attentive welcome. Breakfast was generous, and Karin made sure we had everything we needed. From the room, you can watch the sunrise come up over the peaks and look across the valley. Gries is a short drive away for dinner, or a brisk walk if you're up for it. There's no longer a direct bus from Gries to Sölden, unfortunately, but parking is free if you drive. Five stars, thanks Karin & family. We'll be back.

We had a lovely Easter holiday, thanks in large part to Karin and her family, who made us feel so welcome. The setting is beautiful, and the trip up the mountain from Soelden is worth making each time. Breakfast was delicious, with much of it made from produce from their own farm, including milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, sour cream, and ham.
