Haus Alexander

The Ötztal Valley is beautiful in summer, and we felt very comfortable in this lovely vacation apartment. The landlords were very friendly, and we'll definitely return. As usual, our vacation went by far too quickly. We hope the pandemic will be over by our next stay. Stay healthy.

There was nothing good about this apartment, so I can only give it one star. The landlords smoke outside the window, and they leave the light on until 11 pm. With a glass door, that was disruptive. The motion sensor can't be turned off, so when you use the bathroom at night the light comes on for five minutes and can't be switched off. The dishwasher doesn't clean properly, the shower takes two minutes to get lukewarm and is very hard to adjust, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work everywhere. The owners' door is right next to our apartment, so they could always get in. There's also sometimes a very strange smell. We never saw Alexander and don't know him. It’s a shame, since these bothersome problems could easily have been avoided. Thankfully, we'll never see each other again, but all the best. It would be wise to leave this vacation rental alone, because it isn't good. Even though it has 4 stars, the reviews are probably from Siegfried, since none of them describe anything in detail, they just say it was good. I also don't understand why there's a hallway picture saying “9.1 points Alexander House.” That's not mentioned anywhere online, and there's no such thing as a 9.1 rating. I have NO IDEA how they came up with that; it makes no sense and is just meant to look good. There aren't any shutters either.

Great amenities in a very nice holiday home.

The landlords were very nice. The apartment was very clean, had a grill, and was excellent value for money.
