The apartment stayed at just 16 degrees, and we couldn't adjust the heat ourselves. Everything was controlled from the basement, which needed a key. When a lamp broke and the lights went out, we couldn't fix that either. Using the chimney for heat cost an extra 4€ a day. We were there for a week of skiing. Christine was away, and her son René took over. He arrived 45 minutes late when we checked in and left us waiting in the cold. He was rude and seemed to smell of alcohol. Christine wasn't willing to talk and seemed irritated, acting as if nothing was her fault. Never again.

We'd happily stay here again. The apartment was spacious and reasonably priced, with a bathroom in every room and a tiled stove. The hosts were friendly, and it seems well suited to families or groups. You can drive to the Wilder Kaiser ski area in about 20 minutes.

The house was cold, we couldn't turn up the heating, and the interior felt very dated. After we arrived, we waited an hour for son René, who greeted us drunk and unfriendly. He also berated us rudely. I've traveled a lot, and I'd tell anyone wanting to keep their self-respect to stay away.
