Balma Restaurant | Suites

What stood out most was how warmly the people running Balma Suites looked after us. We were there with our family for a ski holiday, and everything from the beautiful modern rooms to the small, stylish design of the hotel made for a great stay. The restaurant was amazing too. We had a wonderful time.

We arrived late, but they still welcomed us with an amazing meal, and the staff made us feel like part of the family every evening. The dinners were fantastic, and breakfast was just what we needed before heading up the mountain. Balma Suites has a warm family atmosphere, with Evelin and her family making us feel at home. The spacious upgraded rooms were beautiful, and the food was amazing. Its quiet mountain setting has great views and gives you that Austrian feel in the Arlberg region. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday while visiting Lech. Highly recommend it!

The dinners at Balma Suites were warm, comforting, and flavourful every night, and Evelyn's freshly baked bread at breakfast was a lovely daily treat. We didn't have a bad meal. The staff welcomed us like family and made our honeymoon in Zug feel really special. Our cosy, stylish room felt like home, and the thoughtful details made a difference, from the easy-to-use sauna to plenty of power outlets right where we needed them. The hotel is right in the heart of Zug, just a short walk from the cable car and free snow bus, which made it an ideal base for exploring. A memorable stay, and we'd happily recommend it to couples or anyone looking for a warm welcome.

We spent a week at Balma Suites in Zug in July 2024, and the hiking trails, mild weather, and beautiful surroundings made it a lovely place to relax and explore, especially compared with the July heat back home. Zug is also well suited to families, with roomy apartments, a range of amenities, and plenty of activities nearby for different ages. The hotel restaurant was a real highlight. The varied menu brought together local and international flavours using fresh local ingredients. Each meal felt special, with excellent wines and attentive but unpretentious service. The cosy, romantic atmosphere was just right for dinner for two. Our apartment was very spacious, tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean, with modern amenities. The care the owners put into the furnishings and equipment showed throughout our stay. They were warm, polite, and keen to help with whatever we needed. Zug is a picturesque spot near Lech am Arlberg, Austria. Our stay was one of the most remarkable we've had, and we'd recommend the hotel to couples or families looking for a relaxing, romantic, or fun getaway. We will definitely return.
