That burger was the highlight of our lunch: pulled beef on brioche with truffle mayonnaise, and we all thought it was fantastic and a bit different. The dining rooms have lovely wood paneling, with guitar music drifting through. A nice spot right in the heart of Oberlech.

A great location, but that was the only real positive for us. The atmosphere felt cold, breakfast was limited and underwhelming, and the basic, dated room did not come close to matching a rate of around €1,000 per night. We often stay in €500-€1,000 hotels and are happy to pay for quality and service. We got neither here. The luggage problem summed up the service. Before leaving, I asked five different times whether our bags would go down on the gondola. Each time, the woman at reception made me feel as if I was being unreasonable or difficult. When we got to the bottom, there was no luggage. Gondola staff said this happens often, and that the hotel team frequently fail to make sure bags are actually loaded onto the lift. I called the hotel, but the reply was abrupt and unapologetic. That kind of basic failure is unacceptable at any level, especially at €1,000 a night. A beautiful setting on its own isn't enough. Care, service and basic competence were missing.

We came for lunch and ended up wanting to linger. The panorama terrace is cozy, with a striking view over the slopes, and it's a lovely place to sit in the sun for hours. The food was clearly fresh and high quality. Prices are very high, though that may be what you'd expect from a restaurant like this in Oberlech.

We had two amazing lunches this week. Davor, Dorion, ulga and Marina? were outstanding, and the service was unbelievable. The food was amazing too, and the entertainment was excellent. We'll be back xx

Davor was so kind and friendly, and even gave my wife chocolate for Valentine’s Day. How sweet! The food was super and the service was great. Best place to be!! 👌
